

The following is a breakdown of the units of theoretical and practical instruction necessary for completing the course, as prescribed by Illinois statute. Please note that the actual sequence of instruction may vary. A total of 1500 hours.

NOTE: The requirement above may be waived if the student can present documentation demonstrating that the teacher trainee has completed a course in Educational Psychology at an accredited college or university within the five years immediately preceding admission to the program.
Students already meeting the requirement will be credited with these hours at the time of enrollment.
